Some updates on the new project…
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been reading the Warrior, Rogue, and Mage supplements…
We all love to hate the villains. When Darth Vader marches on to the screen in Star Wars, you know something bad is going to happen. He’s got clout. He’s got a cool suit all in black. And he has a theme song. What more could you want?
In looking at the problem, I identified a few key properties that good villains have. (You can read some of my early thoughts here.) And now those ideas have been written up in the latest Insta-NPCs product!
Insta-NPCs #3: Scum and Villainy, Inc. is a little bit of a departure in format from the last few in the series, but offers a collection of 5 tables, a villainous organization with three related NPCs, some examples of villains created using this approach, and a worksheet that pulls all the tables together in one places so you can quickly create your own bad guys to drive your players mad!
Like the rest of the series, it’s only $1.00 and available at DriveThruRPG, RPGNow, Paizo, and d20pfsrd (or will be very soon). So check it out and let me know what you think!
