It's well beyond rumour and is absolute fact that the publisher in question has been using art that he doesn't have the rights to. Whether he stole it or got bamboozled by a third party is the only thing in the air at this point, and with his track record of printing selling material that other people have created without their permission (such as the Mazes & Minotaurs RPG and one fan's random dungeon generation system reprinted from his website), it doesn't look good for him. That said, thanks for the links.
